# API trading on windows vs Mac

Hi deriv team I’m trying to setup a startup and I noticed trading using the deriv api is more profitable on Mac than on windows

hi deriv team thanks for the reply, my observation is due to the fact that i had been trading on my mac using the api library for about 5 months with no losses whatsover till i made a switch over to windows and it hasnt been smooth sailing to be honest it honestly is going to have an effect on my capital
