# Authentication Process for EU Clients

Welcome to the Deriv Community! If you’re a client from the European Union (EU), here’s a guide to help you complete the authentication process for your account.

**EU Member Countries:**  
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

**Steps to Authenticate Your Account:**

1. **Proof of Identity + Selfie:**
