# Can’t activate demo account

I recently found a tutorial on YouTube showing me how to make a demo Deriv account.

I followed the tutorial step by step and was successful up until setting my account type. I wanted to try out the software with a demo account just as the video showed.

However, when entering my $10,000 demo account a pop-up appears, asking to add a synthetic or financial live account. I chose financial but I was later asked for bank details? As I said, I just wanted to test the software and not add any bank or deposits yet.

As far as I can tell there’s no way to remove this pop up or get around making a live account. Can anybody help?
