# Can’t place trades

I have 3$ in my synthetic trading account but can’t place trades what could be the problem

Probably you have logged in with Investor mode, the new order button will be greyed out, you may log out and login with the main password,

Yes as mentioned by @Bala-Deriv maybe you have logged in with Investor mode.

MetaTrader accounts use to have 2 types of password, if you use the Investor Password you will be able to watch only, and will not be able to place new trades.

**If you want to place new trades use the Main Password.**
