# Change payment method

Hi Deriv Community Members,

If you would like to change your payment method in your account, please ensure that you have withdrawn the equivalent amount of your deposited funds using the existing payment method.

Once you have done that, please make a small deposit in your Deriv account to register a new payment method and you will be able to withdraw using the same method.

my problem is if i withdraw with my exsiting method the bank i use usually refuses to give back the money

I don’t understand.What if i withdraw to Skrill a some amount and leave the inistal amaount that i deposited, than I can change my payment method, right?

Hi @bodgies-airbase-2, we hope you’re doing well. In regards to your inquiry, kindly note that you would have to withdraw the equal amount you have deposited via the payment method used. For instance, if you have used Skrill to deposit and now wish to use another payment method, please ensure that you have withdrawn the equal amount you have deposited via Skrill first. Then, you may proceed to deposit via the new payment method. We hope this clarifies. 😃
