# How to log on MT5 with new password

Hi, ever since the rebranding i have been strugling to log on to my MT5. I created a new deriv password and tried to log in, it still says authorization failed.

The “authorization fails” error message indicates that you have entered the wrong login credentials. I suggest you follow the steps posted [here](https://community.deriv.com/t/authorization-failed/380/3) and try to login again. Feel free to contact us via live chat for further assistance.
