# The Differences in Login Details of DMT5, Deriv X and Deriv Accounts

Hello Deriv Community,

If you are wondering why the login details of **DMT5** & **Deriv X** are different from your **Deriv** account. Here’s why:

MetaTrader5 ( **MT5** ) is a standalone trading platform that is owned by MetaQuotes. It is not hosted directly on our website. The MetaTrader5 trading platform is supported by Deriv to give a wider range of trading instruments to trade on.

Deriv X is an original product that aims to deliver all the trading features that are available on DMT5 with more customizable options.

Hence:

- Deriv login details lets you access the other platforms hosted on our website such as such as such as [DTrader](https://deriv.com/dtrader), [DBot](https://deriv.com/dbot?_ga=2.145546493.81777477.1646627020-462017082.1618470241) , [SmartTrader](https://smarttrader.deriv.com/en/trading.html).
