# Trade Basket Indices on Deriv

Dear Community members,

Basket Indices allow you to trade your favorite commodity or currency against a basket of major currencies, each weighted by 20%. A basket option is **a type of financial derivative where an underlying asset is a group, or basket, of commodities, securities, or currencies**.

As with other options, a basket option gives the holder the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell the basket at a specific price, on or before a certain date.

These are some of the instruments we have available for Baskets trading:

**Trade Basket Indices on Deriv**

Trade your favorite currency against a basket of major currencies and benefit from reduced risk and volatility. We provide Commodities and Forex basket which include Gold, AUD, EUR, GBP, and USD Basket.

These are available on CFDs platforms such as **DMT5** , **Deriv X** and **Deriv cTrader**. Other than that, these are also available on Options and Multipliers on **Deriv Trader** , **Deriv Bot** , **SmartTrader** and our app **Deriv GO**.

all basket symbols have delay in execution trading … about 2 second to open trade … 2 second to close trading . for EA and manual trade .

I hope deriv solve this big problem .
