You can top up your demo account with an additional 10,000.00 USD if your balance is 1,000.00 USD or less.
To top up your MT5 Demo accounts from Deriv, you may follow these steps:

Access this link: https://app.deriv.com/appstore/traders-hub

Click on “Top-up” button

Click on “Top-up 10,000.00 USD”
NOTE: Just like your VRTC account balance, adjustment of the preferred balance for your MT5 demo account is unavailable, it is set as 10.000 by default.
