How to calculate profit/loss?

Dear Members,

Please be informed that profit/loss results from the calculation of volume x pips.
Pip = Close Price - Open price

Please find the explanation below:
For example, you sell the contract with the price of 566153.71 and closed it at the price of 563482.99. Since the close price is lower than the sell entry price, you have gained a profit.

Calculation : 0.001 lot x 2670.72 pip = $2.67
For example, you sell the contract with the price of 560064.59 and closed by Stop-Out at the price of 561610.26. Since the close price is higher than the sell entry price, you have lost the contract.

Calculation : 0.01 lot x (-1546.67) pip = - $15.46

Our pip calculator helps you to estimate the pip value in your trades so that you can better manage your risk.
