With that being said, please note that the leverage for your CFD account cannot be changed. Each CFD account will have different leverage and offer different instruments, please click on the “Compare Accounts” button in the Trader’s Hub or you can refer to the “Max effective leverage” in our Trading specifications table, where you can also find more information: Online trading with Deriv | Simple. Nevertheless, it’s totally up to you to control your exposure. There are ways to avoid non-necessary risks:
- Use smaller trading volumes and deposit a larger amount of funds – this way you can reduce your “factual” leverage.
- Always use Stop Losses to manage your risk efficiently.
