Trading disabled on MT5? Here's why and how to fix it

Have you ever got the “Trading disabled” error message in your MT5 mobile app?

Let’s explore the two main reasons behind this issue and how to resolve them.

1. New account, no deposit: If your MT5 account is brand new, trading will be disabled until you make your first deposit to your account. Once you deposit funds, your account will be automatically activated for trading.

2. Inactive account: If your MT5 account has been inactive for 30 days or more, trading may be temporarily disabled. Contact us to help you enable trading on your account.

Pro tip: To prevent your account from becoming inactive, make sure to log in, deposit funds, and place a trade within 30 days.
