Deriv MT5 Login error: Authorization failed (Invalid Account) error message

Dear Deriv Community members,

Authorization failed or Invalid account error message is commonly seen when you have entered incorrect login information. This includes either an incorrect Deriv MT5 login ID, server, or password.

The error message of your MT5 will be shown in the journal section:

Click on the Open button to see your login information for the Deriv MT5 account

Use the right server
If you are trying to log into your MT5 platform and receiving an error of “Authentication Failed” despite using the correct account number & password, it could be due to the server you are using to access the account.

Please refer to the Trader’s Hub to see the correct servers to use.

Select the server corresponding to your chosen company. For example, if you choose BVI, options include DerivBVI-Server, DerivBVI-Server-02, and DerivBVI-Server-03 for real accounts, and Deriv-Demo for demo accounts.
